My client is now seeking an Account Manager- Tactical Applications for their operations in Saudi Arabia, you will be reporting to the Head of New Business.

Your primary objectives and functions will include:-
* Fully accountable for the capture of business opportunities that fall within the post holders remit of responsibility.
* Fully accountable for the effective and timely delivery of proposals that contribute towards the Company's annual Order Book.
* Ensuring proposals support the Company's annual Sales target.
* Ensuring appropriate internal and commercial processes are adhered to at all times.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Members of the New Business team are the primary interface to the customer (UK MOD and SANG) for all new project activities and are responsible for creating through-life, value for money solution proposals at minimal risk to the Company. The Senior Account Manager has the following responsibilities:
* To identify and evaluate new SANGCOM proposal opportunities in line with Company strategy.
* To continuously assess and evaluate Company strategy in line with Customer / Company needs to influence short, medium and long term planning.
* Fully accountable for appropriate contribution to Company sales targets.
* Creation of co-operative working relationships with UK MOD programme team and sub-contractors to ensure timely realisation of sales.
* Ensure efficient use of Company resources to deliver:
1. Timely and value for money proposals that meet Customer requirements and company targets.
2. Proposals that adhere to Company and Customer governance procedures.
3. Proposals that is capable of onward delivery by the Company Implementation team and onward support by the Company operations team.
4. Continuous and high level of Customer satisfaction.
5. Company Order Book with appropriate Sales opportunities.
* Deputise for the Head of New Business as required.

CONTACT WITH OTHERS (Internal/External/Meetings):
The Senior Account Manager is a key representational role for Special Project Management. The post-holder will be expected to manage effective business relationships with a wide stakeholder group including senior officers from the SANG and the UK MOD, together with international suppliers and sub-contractors at senior management level.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION (Knowledge & Experience):
ESSENTIAL
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
* Customer relationship management experience.
* Proven track record of delivering successful military or commercial communication capability bids.
* Strong understanding of bid management and commercial practice.
* Team management / leadership experience.
* Proven track record of leading a multifunctional team and achieving high level of customer satisfaction.
* Proven ability to work effectively at a senior management level and establish trust.
* Sound knowledge and experience of managing budgets.
* Strong standard of written and spoken English.

DESIRABLE
* Business experience in C4ISTAR.
* An internationally recognised Project / Programme Management qualification.

As this role is based in Saudi Arabia, candidates must meet all of the minimum qualifications as they are not bound by UK or EU Laws, also individuals over the age of 50 will also not be considered for any of these roles.
