Electronic/Electrical Engineer - Hertfordshire
Leading technology engineering company based in Hertfordshire urgently seek a Electronic/Electrical Engineer on an initial three month contract, with a view to go on for at least six months.
This is primarily an office based role, but will include some visits to client sites.
Main duties will include:
Support the project team to deliver successful turn key projects
Review design and implementation of a system upgrade by referencing existing product manuals, interconnection drawings, and circuit diagrams, in order to highlight design requirements and constraints against company and regulatory safety requirements
Determine best approach to meet design requirements
Carry out and input into FMEA and Risk Assessments
Produce design specifications for packages of design work
Produce test instructions
Hands on development testing of prototypes
Recording, analyzing, and Interpreting test results
Report to project team on investigations
Produce reports and documentation to record test results and information in line with company standards and legal requirements
We are look for candidates with:
Electrical / Electronic Engineering qualification to degree level
Previous practical experience in an electrical / electronic design role
Interpreting PCB and system interconnection schematics
Knowledge of CE marking requirements and associated regulations
Good understanding of electrical design from a safety perspective especially interlocks, and electro mechanical system communication management
Experience of Design for Manufacture, Test, and Service
